Kristi Lynn Hensley, 34, Morganton Road, Maryville, was arrested by Maryville police officers on May 11 on charges of driving on a revoked driver's license, felony evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was free on bonds totaling $6,750 pending a 9 a.m. May 20 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court.

Carlos Lopez, 21, Grayson Drive, Alcoa, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff's deputies on May 10 on charges of reckless driving and no driver's license. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $3,000 pending a 1:30 p.m. May 19 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court.

Domestic violence

Alcoa

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 5:55 p.m. May 10 and upon arrival, spoke to a 27-year-old Louisville man. He said he and his 24-year-old wife are in the process of getting a divorce and he came to her house because he heard she was leaving the children at the residence by themselves. He said he saw a picture on her cell phone of another man holding his children, the fight escalated and she threw her purse at him. He said a wad of money fell from her purse, he took it because half of the money was his and she bit him on the hand. She aid he was rifling through her purse, they struggled over it and one of her fingernails bent completely back. Options were explained to both parties.
