Ellis-Ballard

Rachel Michelle Ellis, daughter of Mike and Cheryl Ellis, of Seymour, is engaged to marry Stephen Wayne Ballard, son of Jim Ballard, of Knoxville, and Sherry Ballard, of Seymour, at 3 p.m. May 17 at River John's Island.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Webb and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ellis, all of Seymour.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Hazel Ballard, of Knoxville.

Both the bride-to-be and bridegroom-to-be are graduates of East Tennessee State University.
