Snyder-Ratledge

Rebecca A. Snyder, daughter of Jerry and Janice Snyder and Dennis and Rella Jones, all of Knoxville, is engaged to marry Wayne A. Ratledge, son of Jim and Libby Ratledge, of Maryville, at 1 p.m. June 7 at Rockford Baptist Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Maxine Thurman, of Knoxville, the late Rev. James Thurman, Charles Silvey, of Knoxville, the late Jean Silvey, Louise Jones, of Knoxville, the late Wayland Jones, the late John Snyder and the late Johnnie Snyder.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Rev. Charles Ratledge, the late Mary Ratledge, the late Wayne Campbell and the late Jimmie Campbell.

The bride-to-be received a master's degree from the University of Tennessee. She is a teacher in Knox County Schools.

The bridegroom-to-be attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Walter's State University. He is a deputy with the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
